1. Agreement

By using checkbs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What checkbs is, and is not

checkbs gives you an automated, opinion-based assessment of how legitimate a money-making claim in a short video appears to be. It is an information tool to help you think critically. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice or your own research. Do not make financial decisions based solely on a checkbs verdict.

Our verdicts assess the claim and the method, not the character of any person. A verdict is not an accusation that any named individual has committed fraud or any wrongdoing.

3. Accuracy and no warranty

Verdicts are generated by automated systems and AI models that can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong. We make a genuine effort to ground verdicts in real sources, but we do not guarantee that any verdict, score, or source is accurate, complete, or reliable. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Acceptable use

• Submit only links to publicly available videos.
• Do not use the service to break the law, harass anyone, or defame anyone.
• Do not abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to bypass the rate limits, usage caps, or bot protection of the service.
• Do not try to reverse-engineer, resell, or rebuild the service or its prompts.

5. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to create one. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

6. Affiliate links

Some links on checkbs, such as recommended courses, are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only suggest things we consider relevant, and a commission does not change a verdict.

7. Third-party content

Videos you submit and the sources we cite belong to their respective owners. checkbs does not own, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content, and references to it are for analysis and commentary only.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, checkbs and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any financial loss, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or any verdict. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

9. Changes and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and we may update these terms. When we update them we will change the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
